This Will Not End Well is the major retrospective that Pirelli HangarBicocca dedicates to Nan Goldin.
An immersive project that brings together the core of her filmic research and offers, through images and sound, a radical perspective on relationships, communities and the transformations of our time.
The exhibition unfolds across six immersive installations that span different phases of her practice.
Each pavilion forms an autonomous chapter, where images and sound compose a collective diary.
The Ballad of Sexual Dependency remains the emotional core of the journey; The Other Side offers a luminous portrait of the trans community that has accompanied the artist. A new sound installation by Soundwalk Collective enhances the immersive dimension of the exhibition.
Why we like it
Because it is one of the most significant exhibitions of the Milan season and offers an authentic,
necessary perspective on contemporary sensibility.
