SENATO EXPERIENCE

SENATO EXPERIENCE

ELEGANCE, COMFORT, AND COURTESY IN A PRIVATE BUILDING. A CHARISMATIC ADDRESS FOR PEOPLE VISITING THE CITY.

For over a century, this building was the private home of the Ranza family: four generations of entrepreneurs. Now this residence opens its doors as a boutique hotel with uniquely Milanese hospitality. Its 43 rooms welcome guests in a quiet, elegant setting. The atmosphere is classic Milan–spare, practical, and ideal for welcoming those visiting the city for business, but also travelers seeking to explore the Lombard capital.

Senato Hotel Milano

The central court in the lobby is dominated by a stunningly placid expanse of water, a peaceful oasis to behold, as if the Naviglio Grande once again flowed in the open air in front of the building, as it once did in days gone by. The reception area is a triumph of light thanks to the meticulously handcrafted wall lamps in the shape of Ginkgo Biloba.

The combination of marble, wood, and brass in the furnishings, masterfully created by Italian craftsmen, instantly conveys a striking duality between tradition and innovation. Every piece – every armchair and table – is unique, each designed by architect Alessandro Bianchi who arranged and designed the hotel down to the smallest detail.

COVID-19 | STAY SAFE AT SHM

Dear Guest,

in this period of health emergency, we have adopted a series of procedures to guarantee the safety of our Guests and our collaborators. In order to limit the contagion’s risk, our staff has been adequately trained on the new health safety’s protocols standards.

Upon arrival, before entering the reception, you will find a thermo scanner ensuring that the mask is worn properly and that the body temperature does not exceed 37.5 ° C, an essential criterion for entering the hotel. We also remind you that the use of the mask is mandatory in all common areas.

To facilitate physical distancing from other Guests, we provide the most appropriate route to follow, shown by the white arrows. At your disposal you will also find dispensers of hand sanitizing gel.

SERVICES IN THE COMMON AREAS

All common areas, especially the contact points, are frequently sanitized.

The use of the lifts and the gym is allowed to a limited number of Guests, as indicated.

At the Senato Caffé the seating assignment is managed by our staff in compliance with local regulations and favoring distancing among Guests. The bar service may be available during reduced hours and with a limited offer of the food menu.

Breakfast will be served from 07:30 to 10:00 à la carte or, if you prefer, in your room at no extra charge and upon request.

IN ROOM SERVICES

The rooms and their accessories are deeply sanitized with hydrogen peroxide at each change of Guest; the towels and bed linen are treated by the laundry service with high temperature washes and specific treatments according to certified protocols. Daily cleaning, as always, is done accurately.

In the bathroom of your room you will also find a courtesy kit containing a surgical mask, disposable gloves, gel and a sanitizing wipe.
Should symptoms attributable to Covid 19 contagion occur during your stay, we invite you to stay in your room and to contact the reception, which will take care to assist you in the most appropriate way.
