Only few people know the church of San Maurizio al monastero Maggiore, named “the Sistine Chapel of Milan”. At a cross street with Corso Magenta, I was extremely impressed to discover this marvelous beauty so little celebrated at the same time.
What does Senato Hotel Milano represent for you?
For me, Senato Hotel is a group of people who believe in beauty as a fundamental part of hospitality. I share with Senato Hotel the passion for handmade goods, respect and wonder for the skillful work of the artisans: no matter how many times I’ve been there, the wall covered in ginkgo biloba leaves fascinates me every time. I also love the courtyard, located in the very heart of the building and covered in water, where time seems to stand still, although outside there’s a city that almost never sleeps.
