La Pittura Italiana Oggi at the Milan Trinnale
on show until the 11th of Feb. 2024
A large group exhibition dedicated to contemporary Italian painting through the works of 120 of the most interesting Italian artists of different generations, born between 1960 and 2000. The exhibition aims to recover the richness and complexity of Italian painting. Following the example of the Triennale Milano's historic Galleria della pittura murale, special commissions are planned for site-specific murals that will test the medium of painting against the theme of space and architecture.
Pittura Italiana Oggi is also a podcast written and hosted by Strega prize-winning writer Tiziano Scarpa.
